We're celebrating Plastic Free July! Did you know that the world produces 380 million tons of plastic annually, with up to 50 percent used for single-use purposes? That's equivalent to more than 520 Empire State Buildings!

That's why Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund's ReThink Disposable program is partnering with restaurants, local governments, non-profits, and food providers to transition from single-use to reusable foodware to change that statistic.

Here are TWO ways you can help:

  1. Register for our FREE Plastic Free July Webinar taking place Thursday, July 18th at 7 PM ET. Knowledge is power! Discover more about how the ReThink movement is making history in its efforts to protect our planet.
  2. Donate today and help us reach our Plastic-Free July fundraising goal of $10,000. Together, we can stop trash before it starts.

Plastic Free July Webinar

Join us for a Plastic Free July Webinar on Thursday, July 18th at 7 PM ET! Join the ReThink Disposable team and special guests to delve into our achievements and challenges in reducing plastic pollution by encouraging businesses, institutions, and organizations to adopt reusable foodware! RSVP for the webinar here.

Since 2011, ReThink Disposable has assisted over 600 restaurants in transitioning to reusable tableware. Over the past two years, with support from a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration grant, we've significantly advanced our efforts to eliminate single-use foodware and reduce plastic pollution. This includes promoting reuse in larger and more complex food service operations such as reusable take-out, emergency food relief, a ton more schools, and even during a triathlon.

ReThink Disposable collaborates with restaurants, local governments, non-profits, and food providers to facilitate a sustainable shift from single-use to reusable foodware. Together, we prevent over 22 million pieces of single-use packaging each year from entering sorting facilities, landfills, incinerators, or the environment. This approach offers a lasting solution that reduces waste, enhances dining experiences, and delivers long-term cost savings.

During the webinar, you'll get to meet our ReThink Disposable program organizers, hear from participants and supporters, and discover how you can make a difference! RSVP for the webinar here.
