Clean Water Action endorses and works to elect candidates at all levels of government that share our priorities to better protect our environment and safeguard our public health.

Protecting Pennsylvania Communities from the Hazards of Lead

Clean Water Action is working to protect public health by reducing lead exposure through drinking water and in paint, dust, and soil, and by educating Pennsylvanians on how to identify and reduce lead in their communities.

Protecting Pennsylvania's Air

The Environmental Rights Amendment to the Pennsylvania Constitution says "the people have a right to clean air". Clean Water Action is working to hold industrial polluters accountable for their toxic emissions and violations as well as reduce potent greenhouse gases like methane, that exacerbate climate change.

Protecting Pennsylvania's Environmental Justice Communities

There are over 1,000 identified Environmental Justice areas throughout Pennsylvania. Clean Water Action is working to ensure that all Pennsylvanians, especially those that have typically been disenfranchised and/or disproportionally burden with adverse environmental impacts are meaningfully involved in decisions that shape a healthy environment in which to live, learn and work.
